I'm not a museum or shopping traveler. Instead I like trips that involve walking and seeing historical and cultural attractions. I want to see the sites that are unique to that country and enjoy natural beauty. I formed the St Louis Travelers group on Meetup and started leading tours in 2013. It is so neat to start with a group of totally unrelated people with not much in common except their desire to travel. But along the way we always become a cohesive group and we watch out for each other. By the end of every tour, there are hugs and high-fives all around. We always have a reunion potluck to share photos and celebrate our wonderful travel memories! |
